Historical town centre and castle
Manětín Castle is the main landmark of the town. The castle was built in the 15th century by the Kolovrat family. It is a Renaissance castle that is one of the best-preserved examples of its kind in the Czech Republic.The castle has a number of interesting features, including a beautiful courtyard, a chapel, and a number of period rooms.
In addition to the castle, Manětín also has a number of other historical and cultural attractions, including the Church of St. John the Baptist, the town hall, and the Manětín Museum.
