Blatná
Water castle
Blatná water castle is situated on an island in the middle of the Blatná river reservoir.
The castle was built in the 14th century by the Bavor of Strakonice family. It was later expanded and remodeled in the Renaissance style in the 16th century.
The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park, which was designed in the 19th century.
